Next sunday, September 5th, we'll be having a downhill mountain bike race at Arctic Valley. The event is part of the preliminary process to gauge the future potential of gravity mountain biking at Arctic Valley. We're looking for volunteers to help out with the event, it should be a fun day. We'll need lifties, trail spotters, timers, and even folks to cheer! The plan is to use the existing trail under chair two. We'll try to have the lifts running around 10:00am, allow riders a run to familiarize themselves with the route, then start the race at noon. The race itself will most likely last less than an hour. Feel free to bring family up and let them ride up the lift while we have it operating.
